Jenn is a Co-founder and CEO at Engage fi and has worked in financial services for over 16 years.

She spent several years working at FIS, helping financial institutions create strategies for their digital channels. Then she worked as Vice President, Credit Union Experience for PSCU with a focus on the member experience. She worked with credit unions as they selected their partners for Credit, Debit, Online Banking, Mobile, and Bill Pay.

Jenn was inducted into Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 in 2019. She graduated from James Madison University with a focus on design and communication. When not working, Jenn enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons in Tampa, FL.

James brings over 30 years of experience in the Banking and Credit Union Industry to Engage fi with previous senior leadership positions at Fiserv and Open Solutions. Before founding Engage fi, James held the position of Chief Sales Officer at PSCU.

James was educated in England and moved to the United States in 1984. He lives in Treasure Island, FL with his wife, Bettina, and their daughter Alyssa lives in Orlando.

With nearly 20 years of experience in Credit Unions, Ashley has been engaged in many large-scale projects including Mergers, System Conversions, and Project Implementations.  Ashley is results-oriented and imaginative with strong analytical skills and a passion for innovation.

At Engage fi,  Ashley uses her experience and skills to lead projects, assisting financial institutions in achieving goals, and providing account holders with the best services possible.

Ashley stays busy attending wrestling meets and football games, camping with her family, and laughing with friends.  She enjoys being a “small-town girl” in Kalamazoo, MI with her husband and two teenage sons.

As the Accounting Manager, Justine provides critical support to our nationwide team from our Tampa, FL corporate headquarters. John brings more than 20 years of experience to Engage fi. The majority of his career has been in the payments ecosystem, acquiring/processing, and issuing. He had experience with all payment acceptance options from retail, e-commerce, back-office, unattended, and mobile. Within payments, John specializes in security and compliance, validated P2PE, tokenization, and data encryption.

As Area VP, Strategic Consulting, John initiates and nourishes relationships between Engage fi and financial institutions.

When he’s not working, John enjoys golf, surfing, and fishing offshore for Mahi, Wahoo, and anything else that bites!

Sharmin has over 28 years of experience in the financial services industry. During this time, she held numerous operational, and leadership positions at credit unions. Most recently, Shamin worked at Fiserv where she specialized in assisting clients through their core conversion as a Lending Implementation Consultant, and then subsequently as an Enterprise Engagement Partner where she was a dedicated consultant to credit union clients.

Jennifer’s tenure in the Automotive Accounting and Finance field nurtured her love for numbers and data. She admits to getting immense satisfaction when working with spreadsheets and organizing chaotic information. In combination with her pursuit of a Master’s in Technical Writing and Communication, she likes to evaluate quantitative data and articulate their significance critically. Jennifer’s goal as Engage fi’s Pricing Analyst is to continuously serve the Engage fi team and clients with accuracy and insight so they may, in turn, optimally serve their communities.

While Jennifer Currently lives in Georgia, she was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. When she isn’t keeping up with economic trends and the Fintech Industry, Megan can either be found on or nearby her Peloton Tread, watching Bravo, or chasing around her two boys, Graham (7) and Jordan(4) with the much-needed help of her husband Jim in the Chicago suburbs.  She also enjoys the endless pursuit to find the best restaurants and craft breweries in the country and doesn’t mind that it might be a lifelong journey.

Tonia’s primary focus at Engage fi is to develop project and process strategies with a focus on quality and process improvement.  Tonia brings 26 years of expertise as a leader within the bank, credit union, and Fintech worlds.

Before joining Engage fi,  Tonia held several positions at both a credit union and at Fiserv.  Most recently she worked as the Quality and Process Manager for Fiserv.  She is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and is a leader in quality service standards, process standardization and improvement, and accountability standards. Her career has allowed her the opportunity to work with over 300 credit unions in many areas including project management, process improvement, strategy, and, most recently, internal process/strategy development within the FinTech space.

When Tonia is not at work, she likes to spend time with her husband Paul, dreaming of her next trip to Disney World, and she loves volunteering for local non-profits who are working to end homelessness and hunger in her local area.

Herb's Bio

Herb is a Consultant with nearly 15 years of experience in the financial and fintech spaces. He started in the industry while attending DeVry University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a minor in Information Systems. Looking back to his early childhood, it was no coincidence his passion for the industry would be inevitable as he religiously balanced his grandmother’s checkbook as well as counting her secret money stash around the age of 8. He has served in multiple facets of the industry-leading branch initiatives, software support teams, and leading many implementation projects.

Jennifer has been a passionate contributor to her clients’ success throughout her career in technology, product development, sales, and client relations roles. Having spent over 15 years at FIS, she joined CO-OP as the Vice President of Credit Services, successfully launching their credit processing business line.

Chief Financial Officer

Charisa's Bio

Charisa Lin is the Chief Financial Officer at Engage fi. With over 20 years of experience, she is an executive-level financial professional with broad knowledge in accounting, financial, and business principles. Charisa oversees the day-to-day operation of finance, accounting, and treasury functions, and is responsible for financial planning and analysis and Board of Directors reporting.

Prior to joining Engage fi, Charisa was the VP of Finance at RBmedia, and former Director of Finance and Administration at designDATA. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Sun Yat-Sen University, a Master of Science in Accounting and Financial Management from University of Maryland, and an MBA from Champlain College. She started her career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen.

Charisa lives in North Potomac, MD with her husband and two children. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and watching as much soccer as possible.

Kellie brings almost three decades of experience working with FI’s to help them achieve their goals. Prior to joining Engage fi, Kellie was operating as a partner to our team while growing and managing her own consulting firm. Her passion for insurance comes from working with clients across the US; as an executive at SWBC, for almost fifteen years prior to starting her own business.  As senior advisor, Kellie will work with our team to build a new line of business to serve our clients’ insurance needs.  She will utilize her expertise to consult with financial institutions as they navigate key insurance decisions and negotiations.

Outside of work, you’ll find Kellie playing with her rescue dogs, practicing her pool game, and enjoying the many incredible dishes her husband creates.  She is also an active volunteer with Refugee Services of TX, helping resettle families from all over the world.

While working in a previous management role, Evan’s love for data developed rapidly. After being asked to lead the data migration process associated with his location’s transition to SAP, he became increasingly passionate about leveraging the infinite possibilities for the application of analytics. After receiving his Master of Science in Business Analytics from William & Mary, Evan joined the Data Science team as an Analytics Developer at a Virginia-based federal credit union.

Jacy started her journey in the industry while in college and immediately realized it was going to be a lifelong passion. After graduating with a Bachelor of Business degree, she spent the next 12 years working in credit unions in a variety of roles in lending, accounting, and management. Johanna has experience working in the back office, in the field of the banking industry, and on the digital vendor side of the fence. Outstanding customer service is her passion, and she believes the core of that is in supporting her organization with the tools, information, and support they need to deliver gold standard results to our clients.

When Johanna is not working, along with her daughter, family, and a great group of friends she enjoys all that their area has to offer! Mobile, Alabama is a beautiful city, rich in history. Courtnay has extensive experience in the financial services industry and over a decade of experience in human resources.  She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and has held multiple leadership positions in HR, also achieving the certifications of SHRM-CP and SPHR.

Jan lives in Trinity, FL, but is originally from Rockford, IL by way of several years in Wisconsin.  Jan was in radio for several years as an on-air personality at different radio stations. Brian has been working with financial institutions in the northeast for over 25 years. He joined Engage fi as an Area VP, Strategic Consulting to help FI’s optimize their technology strategy, grow more profitably and reduce expenses.

Prior to joining Engage fi, he worked at Fiserv for 12 years in new business development representing all their bank core processing systems (including DNA) and 1+ year focused on accounting, reconciliation, budgeting, and profitability system sales.  Additionally, he worked at OSI/BISYS for 11 years in new business development for the DNA core system during its infancy.

As a Project Manager for Engage fi, Tricia enjoys assisting financial institutions achieve their goals, by driving for the best possible results. Tricia has a don’t-give-up attitude and her number one goal is to build relationships while providing excellent customer service. Tricia began her journey in the world of finance after graduating from college in 2004. She was hired at iPay Technologies to implement bill pay for banks and then moved into the contracting world. After deciding to be a stay-at-home mom for a couple of years, Tricia realized she missed working in the finance industry and went to work for Jack Henry & Associates. Her experience includes working with both banks and credit unions on core conversions, adapting training programs, membership, and loan applications, digital platforms, and most recently all things related to cards.

Tricia lives in Elizabethtown, Kentucky with her husband, Josh, two children Megan and Colton, and their dog, Gnash. Growing up on a farm in northwest Minnesota, Chris is no stranger to hard work and long hours. Lisa is the VP, Client Experience at Engage fi and has worked in financial services for over 25 years.

She spent 15 years working in financial institutions leading transformation efforts in retail and lending.  Lisa’s work in the financial space transitioned to working at Open Solutions, now FISERV as the VP, Solutions Consulting helping financial institutions with maximizing the value of core systems and creating strategies for revenue generation. She worked with credit unions and banks as they selected their Core Processor, Online Banking, Mobile, and Bill Pay.

When not working, Lisa enjoys spending time with her two sons and their families, live music, reading, and outdoor adventures.  She also enjoys challenging herself to anything new, which is easy to do in San Diego. Kody never backs down from a challenge and is always there for others when they need him – even when he’s working on 17 separate projects of his own. He used to play college football, so he’s been recruited as the company bodyguard. Sheila's Bio

Sheila’s primary focus at Engage fi is to execute on Project Management and Quality initiatives that support the Operational Business Transformation as well as the primary resource for implementation of processes, procedures, KPIs, and supporting toolsets.  Sheila brings over 25 years of experience from within the Credit Union and FinTech worlds.

Before joining Engage fi, Sheila held several positions at both a credit union and at a vendor and most recently on a Credit Union Solutions Portfolio Management team.  She is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.

Sheila lives near Dallas, Texas.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching her son play sports, traveling, and running.
