Employee Spotlight – Will Berry

Employee Spotlight – Will Berry

A new month, a new spotlight- this time on IT Integration Specialist Will Berry. Will has been part of the Engage fi team since July 2020, and we manage to keep him very busy as he manages much of our IT infrastructure as well as troubleshoots any issues with our applications or technologies. He also brings expertise in process efficiency, automation, and redesign to many projects to help bring them to the next level and suggests alternatives that will make some tasks easier on the team. In short, he supports the entire organization and our IT needs. Will Headshot

While he grew up in Florida, Will spent many summers in the backwoods of Georgia. He works with Engage fi out of the Tampa area. Will started his career as Helpdesk support in the manufacturing sector. Prior to that, he worked in multiple industries while in college, including food service, construction, and landscaping. To round out his well-roundedness, Will originally wanted to study Theoretical Physics, in college, but the program wasn’t offered at his University, so he studied computers instead. Not one to abandon that line of thought, Will still reads research articles about quantum mechanics and a few other things he finds interesting.

When Will isn’t solving our IT conundrums, he enjoys solving riddles, problems, and other mysteries. In his spare time, Will likes to work on cars, woodworking, wood carving, and fishing. He also enjoys reading, video games, 3D printing, painting, Dungeons & Dragons, and playing music. It may seem like he has a lot on his plate, but Will is happiest when it is a cool day, it is raining lightly, and he has a good book to read. Sounds good to us! Read on to learn more!
